Alea Iacta Est

Yah freaking hoo. I think, I think, I think, my final loan may have finally cleared. It only took, lets see... 4 MONTHS!!!! I guess phone calls every other day and daily emails are what it takes, and they still come through with less than a week to go. Well, the final step has been taken, at least logistically, before the actual final step I will be taking onto the plane.

The winds of change seem to be blowing. Certain aspects of my life are just beyond my control. I have made my decisions, cast my lot, and I will be facing whatever comes with all the strength I have left.

Over and over for the past few weeks this line from the West Wing has been running through my head. No matter where I go, what I do, or which of my current challenges I am pondering, I keep thinking about it. Of course it has a lot to do with my general outlook on life, but there is some reason it is resonating more lately.
