Lookin for Them Better Days

I am going to be so glad when this week is over.
I wrote an entry a while back about asking more of me. I am so ready to be challenged. I am so tired of these assignments that have no point other than to offer a grade. They challenge nobody, they do not foster the formation of new skills. And they are just patronizing.

I will do them. I will do a good job. But I am not going to be better or more skilled for it.

I am just going to be happy to be done with academia for a few weeks.
