Scotland the Brave
So it looks like I am headed for Scotland for a few days. I am really excited.
Here are the tentative plans:
-We are leaving on Friday night for Glasgow, getting in early on Saturday morning. Sleeping on the bus... Oh yeah.
-From there we are going to try to go north and west and hopefully spend a few nights on Mull, an island on the west coast of Scotland. It looks beautiful, lots of nature and hiking to be done as well as a few castles. The town we are planning on basing out of is Tobermory, its supposed to be a pretty remote little place. Looks nice and peaceful.
-Then on Monday I think we are going to go down to Loch Lomond. Then back to Glasgow to catch the overnight bus on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
But there is nothing written in stone. I am very much feeling this whole flexible traveling thing. "Que Sera, Sera" and all. We are leaving on Friday night for sure, and coming back Wednesday morning for sure, but what happens in between, who knows.

This area is historically where Scotland as we know it started. Wallace is from the nearby the island. And there are whiskey distilleries dotted all across the Western Highlands
Yup, sooooo, that's the plan. I am taking the camera, and I'll make sure to get digital prints so I can post 'em. I'll make sure I hand write some posts so that I can transcribe them when I get back.
lour roarin' torrents re-echo my song,
deep as her glens or a source of her fountains
are the brave hearts that guard thee old Caledon.
deep as her glens or a source of her fountains
are the brave hearts that guard thee old Caledon.
